BSO | Berlin Soundpainting Orchestra

The BSO currently consists of 7 experimental musicians and improvisers. Their live composed works of sound and movement could be described as a playful journey through nebulous and colorful ener- gies.
Soundpainting is a sign language for real-time composition develo- ped in the 70s by Walter Thompson. One of his collaborators, Hada Benedito, founded the formerly named Berlin Soundpainting Orchestra in 2012. Since then they have performed together with many artists and collaborated with other real-time composers and orchestras from Europe. They developed site-specific projects in environments of all kinds.
